I'm taking part in the Oxford half marathon 11 Oct 2026 in support of Thames Valley Air Ambulance. Their crews are there for people when they need them the most. TVAA are not government or lottery funded, and rely on the generosity of the community to provide the best critical care at the scene and beyond. Thank you for your support!
I’m proud to be running the Oxford Half Marathon in support of Thames Valley Air Ambulance, a cause that means a great deal to me both personally and professionally. As someone local to the area, I’ve seen how vital this service is to our community. Over the past 11 years working as a nurse across the UK and abroad, I’ve witnessed firsthand just how critical rapid-response teams like this are in saving lives. Their ability to bring advanced care directly to patients during an emergency can make all the difference in those crucial moments. Supporting them through this challenge feels like a meaningful way to give back to a service that truly changes and saves lives every day.
