Running the Oxford Half Marathon 2026 for Thames Valley Air Ambulance
Friday 10th JulIn October 2026, I will be taking on the Oxford Half Marathon in support of the Thames Valley Air Ambulance, a charity that provides critical pre-hospital emergency care across our communities.
As a Triage Specialist Nurse working in Oncology and Haematology, I spend my days assessing patients, managing urgent concerns, and helping people navigate some of the most challenging moments of their lives. Every day, I see how vital timely clinical intervention can be. Whether it is identifying a medical emergency, coordinating urgent care, or ensuring patients receive the right treatment at the right time, healthcare is often a race against time.
This is one of the reasons why Thames Valley Air Ambulance resonates so strongly with me.
By running the Oxford Half Marathon, I hope to challenge myself physically while raising funds for a service that makes an extraordinary difference to patients and families throughout the region.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help support the lifesaving work of Thames Valley Air Ambulance and ensure their teams can continue to be there for those who need them most.
