I'm taking part in the Oxford half marathon for Thames Valley Air Ambulance!
My Story
In 2026, I'll be taking on the Oxford Half Marathon to raise money for Thames Valley Air Ambulance, a charity that provides life-saving critical care across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
Thames Valley Air Ambulance exists to give everyone in our community the best possible chance of surviving and recovering from an emergency. Whether it's a serious road traffic collision, a cardiac arrest, or a life-threatening accident, their highly skilled crews bring advanced critical care directly to patients when every second matters.
They are there for people at their most vulnerable moments, doing everything in their power to protect, save and revive lives, both at the scene and beyond. Most importantly, they are available to anyone, wherever and whenever they are needed.
Unlike many emergency services, Thames Valley Air Ambulance receives no government or lottery funding. They rely entirely on the generosity of their community and supporters to keep their helicopters flying and their critical care vehicles on the road.
By supporting my challenge, you'll be helping this incredible charity continue to provide life-saving care to local people and families when they need it most.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference.
Thank you for your support. It means a great deal to me and to Thames Valley Air Ambulance.
