My target 140 mi

I'm taking on 40 miles in March

I'm taking on 40 miles in March which matches the average distance that the Thames Valley Air Ambulance helicopter flies to reach an emergency. The challenge is to walk, run, swim, cycle or wheel my way to 40 miles, while helping Thames Valley Air Ambulance crews be there for people when they need them the most. TVAA are not government or lottery funded, and rely on the generosity of the community, like you, to provide the best critical care at the scene and beyond. Thank you for your support!

Changed Target again.

Friday 29th Mar
After initially aiming for 40 miles I changed to 100 miles....then with nearly two weeks to go I had to change again to 140 miles.

Loki and I have really enjoyed clocking up the miles despite the weather being horrendous at times.

Not a great start to Mission40

Friday 1st Mar
Woke up this morning full of cold and coughing up  radioactive green looking cr*p.

Hopefully I can shake it off quickly and have better days than today.

First Challenge of 2024

Sunday 4th Feb
Thames Valley Air Ambulance do an amazing job so Loki and I will be walking 40 miles to help raise vital funds. I hope my friends give as much as possible even though I know times are tough for everyone with the cost of living.
