I'm taking on 40 miles in March

I'm taking on 40 miles in March which matches the average distance that the Thames Valley Air Ambulance helicopter flies to reach an emergency. The challenge is to walk, run, swim, cycle or wheel my way to 40 miles, while helping Thames Valley Air Ambulance crews be there for people when they need them the most. TVAA are not government or lottery funded, and rely on the generosity of the community, like you, to provide the best critical care at the scene and beyond. Thank you for your support!

My student paramedic journey

Sunday 3rd Mar
I started my journey in September 2023 as a student paramedic.  This is something I have always wanted to do and I have learnt so much and experience a lot since then.  I’ve been out on placements since November and met so many clinicians and ambulance staff who offer and provide so much support and help to people and i’ve loved every minute working.  The air ambulance service is also an incredible team that i one day would like to be able to work with this team as they provide so many resources to people in need.
Thank you.
