Lacing Up for a Lifeline: My Half Marathon for the Air Ambulance
When a life-threatening emergency strikes, every second counts. Our local air ambulance brings the advanced care of an emergency room directly to the scene, yet these vital services operate as charities relying almost entirely on public donations.
To support this lifeline, I am running a 13.1-mile Half Marathon.
Every mile of training and every pound raised funds fuel, medical equipment, and life-saving care. This race isn't just a personal fitness goal—it is about keeping these medical teams airborne so they can save lives when it matters most.
