My target 160 mi

40 miles cycling in March - my thanks to those who helped save my life!

40 miles matches the average distance that the Thames Valley Air Ambulance helicopter flies to reach an emergency. Not sure how far they travelled when I had my SCA, but they were a massive help and I'm super thankful they exist (though I don't remember any of it!!)  I'm gonna ride 40 miles to help Thames Valley Air Ambulance crews so they are there when people need them the most. TVAA are not government or lottery funded, and rely on the generosity of the community, like you, to provide the best critical care at the scene and beyond. Thank you for your support!

Awesome effort folks - last week push coming!

Saturday 21st Mar
Thanks to everyone that has supported me already - I'm gonna up my targets to £1k of donations and 160 miles given where we've got to coming into the final week or so.  Pic is of the allotment, which I've been wandering down to a lot in the last few weeks - contributed quite a few of the miles!!!

Shirt ready - now for the legs...

Wow

Friday 13th Feb
Fantastic progress - not blowing your trumpets but I'm over £400 and was #1 on the leaderboard yesterday for donations!!  I'm thinking I should've set myself a harder challenge - but my cardiologist might find out and then I'll be in trouble!!  Thanks again to everyone that has donated so far and for the time being posts on here will limited to woodland scenes rather than me sweating in the pain cave (thank me later!)

Wow

Wednesday 11th Feb
Blown away by the early support and benevolence of my friends.  I'll upload silly photos of me in my garage doing the miles if everyone is not careful.  Alternatively I could post random photos of woods, allotments and hillsides where I reside most of the week when it's not raining.

Thanks again folks.
