I'm taking on 40, 80, or 160 miles in March!
40 miles matches the average distance that the Thames Valley Air Ambulance helicopter flies to reach an emergency. The challenge is to walk, run, swim, cycle or wheel my way to 40, 80, or 160 miles, while helping Thames Valley Air Ambulance crews be there for people when they need them the most. TVAA are not government or lottery funded, and rely on the generosity of the community, like you, to provide the best critical care at the scene and beyond. Thank you for your support!

Mission 40 – Running with a Purpose
Sunday 8th MarMission 40 is a personal challenge built around two things that are important to me: pushing my limits and helping others.
Over the coming months I’m taking on a series of running challenges while preparing for the Brighton Marathon. Every training run, every kilometre and every long session is part of the journey.
But Mission 40 is not just about running.
This challenge is also about supporting an incredible lifesaving service – Thames Valley Air Ambulance.
Their crews bring advanced critical care directly to people in life-threatening situations across Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. When every second matters, they deliver hospital-level treatment at the scene.
The service operates thanks to public support and donations.
That’s why Mission 40 exists – to raise awareness and help support the people who save lives every single day.
Training has already taken me across many miles of Oxfordshire countryside. Early mornings, long runs through the Vale of White Horse, building endurance step by step.
Every mile has a purpose.
If you would like to support the mission and help keep this lifesaving service flying, you can donate here:

Thank you for being part of the journey.
