I'm taking on 40 miles in March
I'm taking on 40 miles in March which matches the average distance that the Thames Valley Air Ambulance helicopter flies to reach an emergency. The challenge is to walk my way to 40 miles, while helping Thames Valley Air Ambulance crews be there for people when they need them the most. TVAA are not government or lottery funded, and rely on the generosity of the community, like you, to provide the best critical care at the scene and beyond.
Just had a double bunion operation, so this is a little bit harder than normal, but looking forward to the challenge!
Thank you for your support!

Sunday 31st Mar Thank you so much for all my sponsors. In the end walked over 100 miles and my feet have been fabulous. A bit more mud than I expected, meaning many miles I was wading through mud. Many to and from our house to the Cock and Rabbit at the Lee which was a welcome midway break!!! Had to buy some wellies as my walking boots couldn’t cope. Thank you to all who sponsored me. I’m sure Thames Valley Air Ambulance would like a few extra donations if you are able. ShareI’ve made my target ☺️
