I'm taking on 40, 80, or 160 miles this March!
40 miles matches the average distance that the Thames Valley Air Ambulance helicopter flies to reach an emergency. The challenge is to walk, run, swim, cycle or wheel my way to 40, 80, or 160 miles, while helping Thames Valley Air Ambulance crews be there for people when they need them the most. TVAA are not government or lottery funded, and rely on the generosity of the community, like you, to provide the best critical care at the scene and beyond. Thank you for your support!

Thank you HEMS
Friday 28th Feb 30+ years ago l was a Police Officer in the Metropolitan Police. One day l was wlth a colleague responding to a very serious incident when our Police vehicle was involved in an accident at very high speed. My colleague was killed and l was undoubtedly dying trapped in the vehicle. HEMS saved my life and stabilised me for an hour whilst l was freed from the vehicle. I was then flown to hospital for life saving and life changing surgeries.
