I'm taking on 40 miles in March!
40 miles matches the average distance that the Thames Valley Air Ambulance helicopter flies to reach an emergency. The challenge is to walk, run, swim, cycle or wheel my way to 40, 80, or 160 miles, while helping Thames Valley Air Ambulance crews be there for people when they need them the most. TVAA are not government or lottery funded, and rely on the generosity of the community, like you, to provide the best critical care at the scene and beyond. Thank you for your support!

Just a little update
Thursday 19th Mar I’ve not been very well for about 10 days and my daily miles have been a lot less. I unfortunately don’t believe I will get to 100 miles anymore, but i’m very pleased that i’m over the initial target of 40 miles. I’m pretty run down with a mix of different things and unfortunately i’m not well enough to run right now. I’m still walking and logging as many miles as I can. Share

Meg… sometime things beyond our control takes over goals we make. It’s knowing when to push and when to pull and when to sit back and say f@@k it. Your achievement to date is beyond what you set out to achieve.
