Mission 40 2025

after breaking my ankle im going to walk 40 miles to raise money for TV Air Ambulance

I'm taking on 40, 80, or 160 miles this March!

40 miles matches the average distance that the Thames Valley Air Ambulance helicopter flies to reach an emergency. The challenge is to walk, run, swim, cycle or wheel my way to 40, 80, or 160 miles, while helping Thames Valley Air Ambulance crews be there for people when they need them the most. TVAA are not government or lottery funded, and rely on the generosity of the community, like you, to provide the best critical care at the scene and beyond. Thank you for your support!

We are on our way to 40 miles

It might not seem far to do 40 miles in a month, but every step I take I feel my ankle where it broke in October, I’m really proud of the how many miles I’m walking a day!

40 miles in March to help heal my broken ankle and raise money for the Air Ambulance

Saturday 8th Feb
Having broken my ankle in Crete in October and having to have it operated on, I’ve been off my feet for sometime.  When I saw this fundraiser I knew I just had to take part, The air ambulance save so many lives and relies on donations to operate.  It will be a challenge for me due to my ankle, but one that I’m will to take.  Join me and sign up.
